1. Deck Overview
A midrange deck based on [4C Jaoumon], a famous deck that was active in the 2022 environment. It is a highly defensive build equipped with a large number of "Shield Triggers" plus the powerful counter cards Hyakki no Jaoumon and Abyssal Counterattack.
Its biggest feature is Jaouga, Oniga Great King. It lets you actively use cards normally meant for countering to suddenly go on the offensive, switching between offense and defense. A sturdy deck that you can enjoy making comebacks with, leveraging "Revolution" and "Oni End" effects that grow stronger in a pinch. The more you grind it, the more you can optimize it — it gives you the feeling of raising the deck yourself.
2. How to Win
Reach the 5-mana range from 3-cost mana acceleration → move the game with Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- or Jaouga, Oniga Great King → repeatedly fire Hyakki no Jaoumon to cheat out and deploy creatures → from Revolution Change, lock with Miradante Twelve, Time Pope + Rafululu Love (commonly "Dantelove") to nullify the opponent's defense and win safely.
3. Strengths
- A unique defensive power that lets you survive even with no Shield Triggers among your 5 shields, thanks to the counters Hyakki no Jaoumon, Balad Vi Na Shura, and Abyssal Counterattack.
- Dual offense/defense — Jaouga, Oniga Great King lets you use Hyakki no Jaoumon both for offense and defense.
- Connects into powerful lock creatures via Revolution Change for safe closing.
4. Weaknesses & Notes
- Opponent meta creatures (disruptive creatures) hit hard. Among the 25, it struggles against Primal Giant from [Water Nature Giant] and Bon Kigomime from [Water Fire Magic].
- Repeatedly firing Hyakki no Jaoumon brings you closer to decking out — a double-edged sword. You need to keep recovery in mind.

5. Card Guide
001
Deddam, Disaster ×4
×4 / Creature / Water/Darkness/Nature / Cost 3
Role: Early play (hand/mana/graveyard growth)
Place mana so you can play it on turn 3. With room to spare, also choose the card you put in the graveyard, setting up to use graveyard cards like Cobra, Snake Ninja Holy Chaos and wD Cyclepedia, Dragment Symbol more strongly.
002
Rich Four June ×4
×4 / Spell / Nature / Cost 3
Role: Early play (mana acceleration)
Grows mana without reducing your hand. It only needs Nature, a looser color requirement than Deddam, Disaster. Being a spell, it has the advantage of not being a target for Mach Fighter attacks, so use it situationally against [Water Nature Giant], [Darkness Nature Abyss], etc.
003
Stegoro Kaiser, Struggling Battlekind / Purification Sharrup ×4
×4 / Twinpact card (creature / spell) / Nature / Cost Creature 7 / Spell 3
Role: Mana acceleration + graveyard manipulation
Mainly use the spell Purification Sharrup. Since it reduces your hand, its priority as an early play is lower, but it has the role of disrupting the opponent's graveyard or returning your own graveyard cards to the deck to raise its density (= making it easier to draw hits). The creature side can be used for late-game mana recovery.
004
Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- ×4
×4 / Creature / Water/Fire/Nature / Cost 5
Role: Super-versatile core (hand fixing, removal, attacking)
Mach Fighter. When it enters, add 1 of the top 5 to hand, and if it's Fire or Nature, return one creature to hand (you can choose your own creature, reusing CIP effects). Revolution 2 grants Shield Trigger, Revolution 0 grants +10000 power, Speed Attacker, and Triple Breaker. You can manipulate the order of cards put on the bottom of the deck, usable for fixing Hyakki no Jaoumon hits.
005
Jaouga, Oniga Great King ×4
×4 / Creature / Darkness/Fire / Cost 5
Role: Starting point of the offense/defense switch
Speed Attacker, Double Breaker. When it enters, add all your shields to your hand (you can't use Shield Triggers). Your hand jumps by 5, and you can use Hyakki no Jaoumon offensively. Since it accelerates the game toward the late game, consider the timing to play it carefully. There are also situations where you play it hoping to draw Hyakki no Jaoumon out of your shields.
006
wD Cyclepedia, Dragment Symbol ×2
×2 / Creature / Water/Darkness / Cost 5
Role: Spell-doubling engine
Blocker, Just Diver. When it enters, cast a cost 4 or less spell from the graveyard. Furthermore, you can cast a spell cast from your hand a second time from the graveyard (once per turn). Mainly used to double Hyakki no Jaoumon. It also serves to recover the deck by involving Purification Sharrup, preventing decking out from repeated firing.
007
Hyakki no Jaoumon ×4
×4 / Spell / Darkness/Fire / Cost 6
Role: Top-class counter and deployment
Put the top 4 of your deck into the graveyard, and put a cost 6 or less Fire/Darkness creature among them into play to battle the opponent. With "Oni End," if either player has 0 shields and you have Darkness/Fire in mana, you can cast it for free in response to an opponent attack. With Jaouga, Oniga Great King it can be used offensively too, cheating out Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- and others to rush toward a win.
008
Abyssal Counterattack ×3
×3 / Spell / Darkness / Cost 4
Role: Defense (removal)
With "Counterattack," cast it for free during the opponent's attack (pay the cost at the start of your next turn), reducing one opponent creature's power by -∞ to destroy it. You can also actively cast it on your turn by paying the cost, making it an answer to hard-to-remove creatures.
009
♪ Rising up, Demon and Angel, will they fall ×2
×2 / Spell / Water / Cost 4
Role: Disruption + defense
Shield Trigger. Draw 1, declare a number, and ignore the abilities of opponent elements of that cost + lock spells of that cost. Use it to counter meta creatures or lock a spell likely to be used next. Judging the number to declare is a marker of skill. Chaining it with wD Cyclepedia, Dragment Symbol lets you stack disruption.
010
Balad Vi Na Shura ×1
×1 / Creature / Darkness/Fire / Cost 5
Role: Loss prevention + Oni End deployment
An emergency card that prevents loss by revealing it from hand and putting it on the bottom of the deck when you would lose (on the opponent's turn, if you have Darkness/Fire in mana). Having it eases the drawback of Jaouga, Oniga Great King. Its Oni End effect of putting a cost 5 or less creature from the bottom of the deck into play is strong on offense too; fixing the deck bottom with Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- lets you put out the creature you want.
011
Cobra, Snake Ninja Holy Chaos ×4
×4 / Creature / Darkness / Cost 6
Role: Graveyard-revival Shield Trigger
Shield Trigger, Blocker. When it enters, put the top 2 of your deck into the graveyard and put a cost 5 or less creature from your graveyard into play. You can put out Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- or wD Cyclepedia, Dragment Symbol from the graveyard to greatly move the board. Keep in mind filling the graveyard before using it.
012
Dogiragon Buster, Blue Leader ×1
×1 / Creature (Hall of Fame card = limited to 1) / Fire/Nature / Cost 8
Role: Mass-deployment finisher
Revolution Change from a Fire/Nature cost 5 or more Dragon. Grants Speed Attacker to all your multicolored creatures, and with Final Revolution deploys multicolored creatures with total cost 6 or less from mana/hand. Connecting from Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- lets you push through at once. Even just Revolution Changing in the mid game to replay Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- is strong.
013
Miradante Twelve, Time Pope ×1
×1 / Creature (Hall of Fame card = limited to 1) / Light/Water / Cost 8
Role: Summon-lock closer
Revolution Change from a Light/Water cost 5 or more Dragon. When it enters, cast a Light cost 5 or less spell for free (or draw 1), and with Final Revolution the opponent can't summon cost 7 or less creatures. There's also a vicious combo of returning it to hand with Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- to reuse the summon lock.
014
Rafululu Love, Acoustic Dragon Elemental / "It's coming from the future, so it's a Miracle" ×1
×1 / Twinpact card (creature / spell) / Light/Water / Cost Creature 7 / Spell 6
Role: Spell-lock closer
Revolution Change from a Light/Water Dragon. When it enters, the opponent can't cast spells until the end of their next turn. Playing it the same turn as Miradante Twelve, Time Pope nullifies almost all the opponent's defense cards (Dantelove), and this is the deck's final destination.
6. Basic Play Flow
Early game
Aim to reach 5 mana with 3-cost mana acceleration. If colors are fine use Deddam, Disaster; if making the Water/Darkness/Nature 3 colors at 5 mana looks hard, charge mana assuming Rich Four June.
Mid game
Once you reach 5 mana, act according to the opponent. Against aggression, parry with Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- to take the initiative; against more defensive opponents, attack with Jaouga, Oniga Great King + Hyakki no Jaoumon. Building up with wD Cyclepedia, Dragment Symbol is also strong. Once set up, repeatedly fire Hyakki no Jaoumon to move toward a win.
Late game
Involve Hyakki no Jaoumon to line up attackers like Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion-, then connect into the lock of Miradante Twelve, Time Pope and Rafululu Love. Playing Katta Kirifuda & Katsuking -Story of Passion- during a Hyakki no Jaoumon attack lets you return your own creature to hand to interrupt the attack, avoiding the risk of hitting a Shield Trigger and applying the Dantelove lock without breaking shields.
7. Final Summary
A midrange deck with all-around offense/defense that can switch between defensive counters and attacking. Deploy via 3-cost acceleration → 5-mana range → repeated Hyakki no Jaoumon, and close with the Dantelove of Miradante Twelve, Time Pope + Rafululu Love from Revolution Change. Its weaknesses are meta creatures and decking out. A sturdy deck where you can savor the joy of comebacks and raising the deck.
