Aim for Full Power! Water Magic Tools Ga Ryumizu Deck [Mono-Water Magic Tool]

Official main image

1. Deck Overview

A spell-axis [Water Magic Tool] ([Mono-Water Magic Tool]) that uses many "Magic Tool" race spells to call out the trump-card "Dolszak." The list is highly polished, to the level of "if you're running this archetype now, this is it." A genuine contender with past wins at large tournaments and national events.

The core is the flow of stacking 4 Magic Tool spells under 卍 Grand Zero 卍 and then casting the trump card Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 with its "Gate of Moonless Night 99." True to the Water civilization, it excels at drawing and is equipped with Shield Triggers, giving it a wide offensive and defensive range. It is so versatile that beginners can get lost in what to do, but that also makes it rewarding to grind.

2. How to Win

Set up 卍 Grand Zero 卍 → cast Magic Tool spells 4 times to build the count → at end of turn, cast Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 via Gate of Moonless Night 99 → cheat out up to 4 Dolszaks for free + gain an extra turn → swing all out with the now-unsick Dolszaks to win.

3. Strengths

  • Abundant draw makes it easy to find the cards you want.
  • Shield Triggers and defensive cards are included, so it's good at defending and making comebacks.
  • Dolszaks can revive from the graveyard many times via "Gate of Moonless Night," and Bloodu, Daspell and Airvo, Daspell allow deck recovery and card reuse, giving it high longevity and stamina in long games.

4. Weaknesses & Notes

  • So versatile that there are many choices, requiring experience to judge the optimal play.
  • If the opponent rushes you down before you trigger Gate of Moonless Night 99, you lose, so you need defensive cards to slow them.
  • The stock build has relatively little removal to push opponent creatures off the board.

5. Card Guide

卍 Grand Zero 卍
001

卍 Grand Zero 卍 ×4

×4 / Moonless Field / Water / Cost 2

Role: The heart of the deck (count device)

A field placed sideways. After casting a Magic Tool spell, placing it underneath draws 1 card. With 4 underneath, "Gate of Moonless Night 99" lets you cast a Water cost 99 or less spell for free at end of turn (= Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍). It can also ignore effects that lock your Magic Tool/Dolszak spells. Set it up with top priority when drawn.

Somenzan, Daspell
002

Somenzan, Daspell ×4

×4 / Spell (Magic Tool) / Water / Cost 1

Role: Advance count + draw

It has zero effect on its own, but with 卍 Grand Zero 卍 it transforms into an outstanding card that draws 1 and advances the count by 1 for 1 cost. There's almost no situation to use it before setting up 卍 Grand Zero 卍.

Gompadu, Daspell
003

Gompadu, Daspell ×4

×4 / Spell (Magic Tool) / Water / Cost 2

Role: Search + advance count

Recover 1 from the top 3 of your deck. If 卍 Grand Zero 卍 isn't set up, grab that; if it is, look for the next Magic Tool or Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍. With 卍 Grand Zero 卍 it comes with a bonus draw.

Baredu, Daspell
004

Baredu, Daspell ×4

×4 / Spell (Magic Tool) / Water / Cost 2

Role: Hand exchange + advance count

Draw 2, discard 1. Discard candidates are Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 or a Dolszak (the former is reused via 卍 Grand Zero 卍, the latter from the graveyard, so there's no waste).

Bocdu, Daspell
005

Bocdu, Daspell ×4

×4 / Spell (Magic Tool) / Water / Cost 2

Role: Defense (attack stop) + advance count

Make one opponent creature unable to attack or block. It has Shield Trigger Plus, so using it from the 2nd or later shield that turn comes with a bonus of returning one opponent element to hand, letting you stop two attacks. A defensive pillar.

Kurokami, Like Reading Music Love
006

Kurokami, Like Reading Music Love ×4

×4 / Creature / Water / Cost 3

Role: Spell cost reduction + disruption

The deck's only non-Magic-Tool, non-Dolszak card. It reduces all your spell costs by 1, and each time you cast a spell, makes one opponent creature unable to attack/block. It helps reach the 4-count of 卍 Grand Zero 卍 in a single turn. With Just Diver, it can't be chosen and won't be attacked right after entering. Nothing happens just by playing it, so play it judging the development.

Gashagon, Misfortune Demon 98 / Bloodu, Daspell
007

Gashagon, Misfortune Demon 98 / Bloodu, Daspell ×4

×4 / Twinpact card (creature / spell, Magic Tool) / Water/Darkness / Cost Creature 3 / Spell 2

Role: Graveyard reset + draw, or defense

Mainly use the spell Bloodu, Daspell, returning one graveyard to the deck and drawing 1. It disrupts the opponent's graveyard use, and near decking out it can recover your own deck. The top creature Gashagon, Misfortune Demon 98 is a Slayer Blocker that defends against aggro or serves as a final attacker.

Airvo, Daspell
008

Airvo, Daspell ×4

×4 / Spell (Magic Tool) / Water / Cost 4

Role: Bounce (defense + reuse)

Shield Trigger. Return one cost 7 or less "card" in the battle zone to hand. The key is being able to return your own cards — recover 卍 Grand Zero 卍 or the Magic Tools beneath it to reuse them. Technical uses include replaying to aim again for Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 and deck recovery.

Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍
009

Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 ×3

×3 / Spell (Dolszak) / Water / Cost 99

Role: The deck's trump card

It can't be cast from mana; cast it via 卍 Grand Zero 卍's Gate of Moonless Night 99. Free-summon up to 4 Dolszaks from hand and graveyard, and gain an extra turn. Summoning sickness is gone so they can attack right away — plenty of finishing power.

Gar Raganzark
010

Gar Raganzark ×1

×1 / Creature (Hall of Fame card = limited to 1) / Water/Darkness / Cost 8

Role: Cheat-meta Dolszak

Blocker, Double Breaker. The opponent must put creatures they put into play by means other than "summoning" into the graveyard. It has resistance to being chosen by opponent spells, and even if defeated it revives via "Phantom Gate of Moonless Night" triggered by Magic Tools. Using it, there's a route to put it out alone without going through Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍.

Bangetsu 卍 Ga Ryuzark 卍 / "I can see everything!"
011

Bangetsu 卍 Ga Ryuzark 卍 / "I can see everything!" ×1

×1 / Twinpact card (creature / spell) / Water/Darkness / Cost Creature 9 / Spell 5

Role: Mana-binding Dolszak, or a defensive trigger

The top side binds the opponent to untapping only 3 mana each turn. With 6 Magic Tools on field and in graveyard, it can revive at the end of each turn, usable even without the trump card. The bottom "I can see everything!" is a Shield Trigger that limits the opponent's attacks/blocks to once each per turn until your next turn. Use it for stalling or to support an all-out attack.

Zeni Szark $, Zenith of "Moonless"
012

Zeni Szark $, Zenith of "Moonless" ×1

×1 / Creature (Hall of Fame card = limited to 1) / Darkness / Cost 10

Role: Top-class finisher

Triple Breaker. When it enters / when it attacks, destroy one opponent creature + 1 hand destruction. Since you draw each time a card is placed in the opponent's graveyard, just playing it gives destruction + multiple draws. It revives via "Gate of Moonless Night - Absolute," making it hard to deal with. Search for it early with Gompadu, Daspell and Baredu, Daspell.

Garyudeias Momomizu Twenty Two, Hybrid Summit
013

Garyudeias Momomizu Twenty Two, Hybrid Summit ×2

×2 / Creature / Light/Water/Fire / Cost 99

Role: Lockdown-type finisher

Cost -90 if there are 4 or more non-creatures in the graveyard. EX Life, Speed Attacker, Triple Breaker. The opponent can't cast non-Light spells, and at the end of your turn you can put a creature from hand into play. It can be summoned without issue from Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 and has high surprise value.

6. Basic Play Flow

Early game

Set up 卍 Grand Zero 卍 with top priority. If it's in hand, place it on turn 2 without hesitation. If you can't draw it, search with Gompadu, Daspell and Baredu, Daspell. After setting up, cast Magic Tool spells 4 times to build the count while gathering Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 and Dolszaks. If you might get attacked, stall with Bocdu, Daspell. The route of turn-2 卍 Grand Zero 卍 → turn-3 Kurokami, Like Reading Music Love makes it easy to complete everything at once on turn 4 thanks to cost reduction.

Mid game

Once the count of 4 is set, cast Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 at end of turn via Gate of Moonless Night 99. Deploy all the Dolszaks you have and gain an extra turn. Don't rush to attack; an effective closing play is the "insurance" line of setting up a second 卍 Grand Zero 卍 while binding the opponent with Gar Raganzark and the like, so you're ready to fire again.

Late game

Even in a long game where you can't win as ideally, you can keep fighting via Dolszak revivals, deck recovery with Bloodu, Daspell, and card reuse with Airvo, Daspell. If decking out looms, there's also the option of recovering only your own deck with Bloodu, Daspell and waiting for the opponent to deck out.

7. Final Summary

A spell-axis deck that repeatedly fires Magic Tool spells to complete 卍 Grand Zero 卍, then lines up Dolszaks via Gekabankai Ga Ryumizu 卍 and wins with extra turns. It is versatile with high draw, defense, and stamina, but its operation is complex and requires mastery. Customization heads toward adding finishing touches around Magic Tools and Dolszaks.
