1. Deck Overview
Based on [Water Light Lionel.star], a deck more defensive than almost anything in Duel Masters history. Its main is the "Tamaseed," a dexterous card type that's like a middle ground between creature and spell. Among [Lionel.star] decks built around Tamaseeds, this is a build that tunes the technical [Water Light Lionel.star] favored by experts into a more manageable form.
It fights by switching between offense and defense on your own timing. Despite being defensive, MAX the Johnny can also produce the attack power to kill the opponent in one strike. Mastered, you can construct a game where you're the lead, but until you get used to it, matches drag on and mistakes increase — a deck that demands mastery.
2. How to Win
Fix your hand and endure with abundant Shield Triggers and a long game → from 5 mana on, deploy with the big chain of putting out Slotton's Memory and Still Justice Till The End (Lionel Star) off each other → break with MAX the Johnny while increasing your own shields, and with Joker's Memory do mass removal + add shields → win via MAX the Johnny's alternate win at 10+ shields, or with a mass break.
3. Strengths
- Abundant Shield Triggers and Tamaseeds give overwhelming defense and comeback power that isn't easily broken through.
- Most of the opponent's disruption cards don't target Tamaseeds, so it's hard to counter and easy to connect into comebacks.
- Invincible-level closing via MAX the Johnny (alternate win at 10 shields) and Joker's Memory (mass removal + shield addition).
4. Weaknesses & Notes
- Since it's a deck that can't increase mana, you move on-curve, and matches tend to drag on, increasing mistakes.
- There's the difficulty of continuing to make the best choices — it demands mastery.

×4 / Spell / Water / Cost 3
Role: Graveyard reset + draw
Return one player's graveyard to the bottom of the deck and draw 2. Prevent your own decking out and disrupt the opponent's graveyard use. An engine that supports the long game.
003
Corile's Vision ×4
×4 / Tamaseed / Water / Cost 4
Role: Send-to-deck removal + reuse Shield Trigger
Shield Trigger, Shinkalize. Return one creature/Tamaseed to the bottom of the deck, and its owner draws 1. You can make the opponent's powerful cards unrecoverable, or return your own creature to make it reusable.
004
Perfect Alcadeia ×4
×4 / Spell / Light/Water / Cost 4
Role: The deck's engine (hand replenishment)
Choose twice from "add Light and Water cards to hand" / "make into shield" / "turn a cost 3 or less element into a shield." Since this deck is all Light or Water, one use reliably replenishes 2 cards. Revolution 2 (2 or fewer shields) grants Shield Trigger, prolonging the game with removal and shield recovery.
005
Aqua Network ×4
×4 / Creature / Water / Cost 5
Role: Pseudo Shield Trigger engine
Shield Trigger. When it enters, use a cost 5 or less Tamaseed or spell from hand for free (use a strong trigger in hand as a pseudo Shield Trigger). With Civil Count 3 (3 or more Water), it gains Blocker and returns to hand when destroyed.
006
Still Justice Till The End (Lionel Star) ×4
×4 / Star Evolution creature / Light / Cost 5
Role: The star (deployment support)

×4 / Tamaseed / Light / Cost 5
Role: Evolution-creature deployment Shield Trigger
Shield Trigger, Shinkalize. When it enters, choose "draw 1" or "put out a Light cost 7 or less evolution creature with Blocker grant." Holding evolution creatures you can put out on trigger (like multiple Still Justice Till The End (Lionel Star)) makes you rock-solid. The other half of the big chain with Still Justice Till The End (Lionel Star).
008
Magic Circle of the Wicked Brain ×4
×4 / Tamaseed / Light/Water/Darkness / Cost 5
Role: Graveyard use + defense
G-Strike, Shinkalize. When it enters, put the top 3 of your deck into the graveyard and use a cost 4 or less non-creature card from the graveyard for free. It can be put out from Still Justice Till The End (Lionel Star), a precious means of graveyard access. Multicolored, but since it untaps when placed from hand into mana, it's usable the turn you place it.
009
MAX the Johnny ×3
×3 / S-MAX Evolution creature / Light / Cost 6
Role: Finisher (alternate win)
S-MAX Evolution (no evolution base needed, substitute when you would lose). +2000 power per other Jokers/Rexstar of yours = Powered Breaker for more breaks. Before each break, add 1 shield. At the end of an attack, if you have 10 or more shields, you win the game. You can aim for the alternate win by rapidly increasing shields.
010
Alcadeias Momoking ×2
×2 / Star Evolution creature / Light/Fire / Cost 6
Role: Lockdown finisher
Triple Breaker. +2000 power to all your other Rexstars, the opponent can't cast non-Light spells, and the first opponent creature each turn enters tapped. With control power that crushes the opponent's comeback, it can win outright.
011
Joker's Memory ×3
×3 / Tamaseed / Light / Cost 8
Role: Mass removal + shield addition
Shinkalize. When it enters, each player keeps at most 1 creature/Tamaseed and adds the rest to the deck, adding that many shields for you. It effectively wipes the board while gaining a mass of shields to create an invincible state. At 10 shields, MAX the Johnny's alternate win becomes easy. Even sending a Star Evolution to the deck, the Tamaseed beneath remains.
6. Basic Play Flow
Early game
Since you can't increase mana, move on-curve. Use Gelacho's Memory and ♪ Why are you leaving, where are you going now, with turn 4 onward being important. Against attacking opponents, buy time with Corile's Vision. Against long-game-oriented opponents, grow your hand with Perfect Alcadeia. With room, return a used Gelacho's Memory to your shields to reuse it.
Mid game
At 5 mana, or once Slotton's Memory triggers, start the big chain. Just repeating Slotton's Memory → Still Justice Till The End (Lionel Star) → Slotton's Memory → ... lines up creatures and lets you use Tamaseeds. Access other evolution creatures with Still Justice Till The End (Lionel Star) to assemble damage.
Late game
Once enough Rexstars are lined up, MAX the Johnny's power rises and its breaks and shield additions increase. Adding Joker's Memory lets you add shields equal to your lined-up creatures (both your own and the breaking shields). If you have 10+ shields when MAX the Johnny attacks, you win on the spot. Even if not, you can break all the opponent's shields at once — victory is near.
7. Final Summary
An extremely defensive and technical deck that endures with Tamaseeds and abundant Shield Triggers, deploys with the big chain of Slotton's Memory and Still Justice Till The End (Lionel Star), and closes with MAX the Johnny's alternate win or Joker's Memory's mass removal + shield addition. Its weaknesses are the lack of mana acceleration and the difficulty of the long game and operation. It gets even stronger by adding cards that lock the opponent down.
