1. Deck Overview
[Darkness Nature Kenji Kingdom] (also simply "Kenji"). A deck with a "gacha" element.
The core is Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened. With the hurdle of Ultimate Evolution ("evolve onto an evolution creature"), its power is immense: put the top 3 of your deck into the graveyard and put out any one creature among them. With this, slam down super-powerful large beasts as early as turn 3 to close the game. Especially Gyaia, Ground Seal Dragon, which prevents the opponent's "when it enters" effect holders, is exceptionally strong, and against some decks it's a one-card win. Furthermore, stacking an evolution onto Gunter Pegasus, the Super Enlightened lets you put out any number of creatures from mana. It's also good at fine games beyond the gacha — lockdown with Mach Fighter, meta creatures + CRYMAX Jaouga, and so on.
2. How to Win
Prepare an evolution base (Helcopta's Memory → Zundoko Momoking, Harebu Dragon) → Ultimate Evolution Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened as early as turn 3, cheating a large beast (Gyaia, Ground Seal Dragon, Gigandydanos, Big Tree King, etc.) from the top 3 of your deck and passing the turn → next turn, evolve into Gunter Pegasus, the Super Enlightened for mass deployment from mana, or finish with CRYMAX Jaouga.
3. Strengths
- The explosiveness of cheating super-powerful large beasts as early as turn 3.
- Large beasts that are game over for the opponent just by coming out, like Gyaia, Ground Seal Dragon and Gigandydanos, Big Tree King.
- Stacking Star Evolution protects the evolution base, so it's resistant to removal and easy to connect into Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened.
4. Weaknesses & Notes
- It has almost no defensive triggers, so it struggles against aggro decks like [Fire Nature Apollonus] and [Fire Darkness Bike].
- It has a gacha element, and the large beast you cheat is luck-dependent (recovery is possible via Evolution Blueprint, etc.).

5. Card Guide
001
Helcopta's Memory ×4
×4 / Tamaseed / Nature / Cost 1
Role: Early play (evolution base + search)
Shinkalize (an evolution creature can be placed on top = a hard-to-remove evolution base). When it enters, add one evolution creature from the top 4 of your deck to hand. The 1-cost you most want to play.
002
Tsukutcho (Miss Mei Star) ×4
×4 / Star Evolution creature / Nature / Cost 1
Role: Evolution base (Mach Fighter)
Star Evolution placed onto a Rexstar or Nature creature (when it leaves, only the topmost card leaves). With Mach Fighter, it can process the opponent's meta creatures. If you stack Star Evolutions, even when destroyed only the top peels off, and you can evolve into Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened.
003
Primal Giant ×4
×4 / Creature / Nature / Cost 1
Role: Evolution base + cheat/graveyard meta + defense
G-Strike. When the opponent puts a card into play from somewhere other than hand, make it go to mana instead (obstructing revival and mana summon). On turn 1 an evolution base, afterward a meta. Putting out 2 from Gunter Pegasus, the Super Enlightened and attacking lets you care for Shield Triggers like Cobra, Snake Ninja Holy Chaos. A precious G-Strike.
004
Ningyo, Floating in the Starry Sky ×4
×4 / Creature / Darkness / Cost 2
Role: Evolution base + boost meta + defense
G-Strike, Slayer. During the opponent's turn, when they place a card in mana from somewhere other than hand, make it go to the graveyard instead (obstructing boosts like Mendelssohn and Faerie Re:Life; can't stop Charger types). Being a Rexstar, it's an evolution base for Zundoko Momoking, Harebu Dragon and the like.
005
Zundoko Momoking, Harebu Dragon ×4
×4 / Star Evolution creature / Nature / Cost 2
Role: The axis of movement (boost + evolution base)
Star Evolution placed onto a Rexstar/Nature. When it enters, 1 boost. When it leaves, you're forced to return 1 mana to hand (ignore it by evolving further on top). Helcopta's Memory → Zundoko Momoking, Harebu Dragon → Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened is the ideal move. In the late game it also generates immediate damage.
006
Evolution Blueprint ×4
×4 / Spell / Nature / Cost 2
Role: Evolution-creature recovery Shield Trigger
Shield Trigger. Add all evolution creatures from the top 6 of your deck to hand. This deck's evolution creatures total 20, so you can expect about 3 recovered — a 2-cost 3-draw class. Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened's landing is delayed by 1 turn, but you can stack 2 Star Evolutions to protect the base, or aim for Tsukutcho (Miss Mei Star) + Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened the same turn. Cast it aggressively when pieces aren't assembled.
007
Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened ×4
×4 / Evolution creature (Ultimate Evolution) / Darkness/Nature / Cost 4
Role: The deck's core (gacha)
Ultimate Evolution (place onto an evolution creature). Double Breaker. When it enters, put the top 3 of your deck into the graveyard and put out one creature among them. You can evolve itself onto itself to continue the gacha. If Gyaia, Ground Seal Dragon or Gigandydanos, Big Tree King comes out, it's a big hit. It can be summoned from the graveyard, so even if you miss and get removed, re-preparing an evolution base lets you redeploy.
008
Gunter Pegasus, the Super Enlightened ×4
×4 / Evolution creature (Ultimate Evolution MAX) / Nature / Cost 5
Role: The standard finish (mass mana deployment)
Ultimate Evolution MAX (place onto an Ultimate Evolution creature). Triple Breaker. It can also be summoned from mana (no need to keep it in hand). On attack, up to 3 boost + put out any number of creatures from mana (when-it-enters effects ignored). Placing Tsukutcho (Miss Mei Star) and the like on top keeps the break count to 1 point, lowering Shield Trigger risk for a one-shot next turn.
009
CRYMAX Jaouga ×4
×4 / S-MAX Evolution creature / Darkness / Cost 7
Role: Finisher + precious mono-Darkness card
Oni S-MAX Evolution (no evolution base needed; when you would lose / when it leaves, destroy 3 of your own face-up cards to endure = you may pull out cards beneath Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened). Triple Breaker. When it enters, set each player's shields to 3. On attack, destroy one opponent + 2 hand destruction. It's also a precious mono-Darkness card to pick up the Darkness civilization needed to summon Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened via Helcopta's Memory and Evolution Blueprint.
010
Gyaia, Ground Seal Dragon ×2
×2 / Creature / Nature / Cost 9
Role: Hit (CIP-ability lock)
Quad Breaker. When an opponent's "when it enters" ability holder would enter, make it go to mana instead (cripples creature decks no questions asked; against many decks it's a one-card win). During your turn, you can put out a creature from mana once per turn. If it comes out of Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened, it's a win-class hit.
011
Gigandydanos, Big Tree King ×2
×2 / Creature / Darkness/Nature / Cost 12
Role: Hit (hand devastation + attack lock)
World Breaker (break all the opponent's shields). Fushigibirth [Darkness/Nature(14)]. When it enters, make the opponent put their entire hand into mana, and you can't be attacked by creatures with less power than it (at power 50000 it's effectively "the opponent can't attack you"). Decks that can't remove large creatures are done. If it comes out of Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened, it's a win-class hit.
6. Basic Play Flow
Early game
Prepare for Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened. You need both an evolution creature and a creature to be its base. Ideally, turn 1 Helcopta's Memory, turn 2 Zundoko Momoking, Harebu Dragon for 1 boost, connecting into a turn-3 Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened. You can't always move that way, so buy time with Ningyo, Floating in the Starry Sky, or search pieces with Evolution Blueprint.
Mid game
Summon Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened, put 3 deck cards into the graveyard, and put out a large beast from among them. If Gyaia, Ground Seal Dragon comes out, the opponent is crippled. The stage to enjoy the "thrill" of the gacha.
Late game
Once a strong card is revealed and the turn comes back, close calmly. Summon Gunter Pegasus, the Super Enlightened to line up a mass of creatures. The creatures you put out aren't Speed Attackers, so place a Star Evolution from mana onto Gunter Pegasus, the Super Enlightened to make it a 1-point break, lowering Shield Trigger risk. Build a safe board and finish together with CRYMAX Jaouga.
7. Final Summary
A "gacha" deck that prepares an evolution base to Ultimate Evolution Kenji Kingdom, the Enlightened, cheating large beasts like Gyaia, Ground Seal Dragon and Gigandydanos, Big Tree King from the deck to close the game as early as turn 3. Finish with Gunter Pegasus, the Super Enlightened's mana deployment or CRYMAX Jaouga. Its weaknesses are thin defense and aggro resistance. The thrill of cheating large creatures at top speed is one of a kind.
